Symfony is a full-stack framework, a library of cohesive classes written in PHP. This library allows for rapid development and refactoring of PHP web applications.

Symfony is our tool of choice for building complex web sites/web applications where a standard CMS (such as WordPress, Joomla or Drupal) do not have enough power and flexibility to deliver the neccessary features.

We are experienced Symfony developers (based in Sydney) and enthusiastic proponents of this wonderful PHP framework. We have also authored a number of Symfony plugins, including the popular sfJqueryFormValidationPlugin

Symfony significantly reduces the amount of repetitive tasks and redundant code which normally exist in large scale web applications. This allows us to focus less on the coding requirements and more on solving the problems at hand. It allows more scope for innovation and the ability to deliver changes, updates and new features in a fraction of the time traditionally required for large scale web application development.

Popular sites such as Yahoo Bookmarks, Delicious and W3Counter all utilise the Symfony framework as the engine of their sites. This framework has already done the hard yards in large scale deployments and has all the necessary features to perform under heavy loads and large volumes of dynamic page requests.
